Dinner on Main Street, Seal Beach, CA

Ahh, my love of Mexican food is here again.  One of the tastiest places to eat in my old stomping ground is Taco Surf.  It’s a small chain restaurant, with a few locations only in Southern California and it’s just good, tasty, fun!  Whenever I travel home and happen to visit the eatery, it brings me back to nights at the beach with my friends, laughing over fresh tortilla chips, spicy salsa, and salty margaritas.

I’m a bit of a creature of habit, when I find a dish I like, I tend to stick with it (but my saving grace is that I’m always willing to try anything!!!) and at Taco Surf, my hungry tummy craves the two taco combo (shredded chicken-so tender!!-with the tomatoes and onions on the side) served with refried beans and homemade Spanish rice.  Mix it all together; dipping the tacos and chips into the rice, beans, and salsa (not at the same time, unless that’s your thing and then carry on! (-: ) and you have a fiesta of flavors!

Another reason why I just adore Taco Surf is the decor.  Maybe it’s a girl thing, but I just appreciate how committed Taco Surf is to being quirky, eccentric, and eclectic in their decorations!  It brings the infamous flair (Office Space!) and makes it cool.  Really!  Try it out and you will come back for more!

Go on now, get to it!
