Sweet, Sweet, Baked Goodness in Seal Beach

Sweet Jill’s Bakery.  Can it get any better than that?  Just by name alone, I LOVE it! Go figure. (-:  Finish your day at the beach with a piping hot, homemade cinnamon roll from Sweet Jill’s.  My mom first took me to this bakery years ago, when I was very young, for a birthday surprise.  My special bakery.  And it’s the best bakery of all because it has my name!  Of course!  Oh, it’s just as good today as it was then.  Walk in to the store and you are enveloped in smells of sugar and spice and everything nice.  It’s warm and inviting and you can’t help but want to leave with everything on display in the shiny glass display cases.  You almost feel as if you’ve stepped back in time  … or maybe gone to heaven!

Brownies, sugar cookies, more cookies, snicker-doodles, cupcakes, red velvet cake, fruit cobblers, deep dish fruit pies, muffins, biscotti, german chocolate cake, pecan sticky buns, macaroons, oodles of cakes, and best of all, cinnamon rolls!  And that’s just the short list.  Make it over to Sweet Jill’s to satisfy your small town sweet tooth craving.  Feel like a 5 year old all over again.

    (P.S. Isn’t the mug adorable?!?!)
